Part-Time Processing Administrative Assistant – Tax Division

Walz Group is currently looking for a results-oriented administrative professional to join our team as a Part-Time Processing Administrative Assistant in our Tax Division. This person will play a key administrative support role with the organizing, processing and assisting in preparation of client tax documents, as well as other required administrative support to the team. This is a part-time role, with a minimum requirement of 20-40 hours/week during the January through April tax season, and up to 15 hours/week from mid-April to mid-October – in both cases based on work volume.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do:

  • Organize and scan tax documents
  • Download client information from online portal
  • Autoflow scanned tax documents for tax preparers
  • Process personal tax returns and estimated payment coupons
  • Process tax return extensions
  • E-file tax returns
  • Resolve tax filing issues
  • Other light administrative and clerical support as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates will have:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • A warm, people-centric personality
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of software, most notably Outlook, Word and Excel
