Steve joined the firm in 1983 becoming a principal in 1986. Throughout his career, Steve has been well-known for his ability to understand and lead his clients through the complexities of multi-state taxes, construction taxation and business valuations. Steve has written several articles for the Pennsylvania CPA Journal on topics including bankruptcy, tax reform, construction accounting and business start-ups in the state. News organizations and the Lancaster Chamber will often share his expertise with readers and viewers by quoting him on issues such as business taxes and fiscal policy.

In addition to his business and taxation knowledge, Steve is passionately dedicated to his clients and the community where he lives. Steve demonstrated his leadership qualities early in his career by graduating from the inaugural Leadership Lancaster class in 1984. In subsequent years, he served as the chair of the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Manheim Township Planning Commission. Currently he is the Chair of the Lancaster County Community Foundation and serves as the Treasurer of Housing Development Corporation Mid Atlantic (HDC.)
