Lancaster County Recovery & Sustainability Fund Now Open

The Lancaster Chamber and Economic Development Company of Lancaster County (EDC) have come together to create Recovery Lancaster. The goal of Recovery Lancaster is to help rebuild the small businesses that make up Lancaster County, after having been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Free PPE kits for companies of 100 employees or fewer became available last week and today the first phase of a $25 million grant became available. Phase 1 injects $10 million into small Lancaster County businesses for working capital and retrofit needs. The funds may be used for helping entities secure access to funds for working capital including payroll, rent, mortgage, supplies, and other operating expenses needed to help the entity serve or produce goods relevant in today’s economy. It may also be used to help businesses retrofit their facilities to meet public health requirements.

Those businesses who may apply for the Lancaster County Recovery & Sustainability Fund must be based in Lancaster County and have 20 or fewer employees.
