SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

Currently we are looking for a seasoned tax accounting professional for our Tax Division to help maintain the firm’s standard of unparalleled service to our clients, as we help them navigate the many financial aspects of their business. A Senior Accountant will be a key member of our Tax team and will provide compliance, consulting, and tax outsourcing services, with opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities:

What you will do:

• Understand rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA
• Provide tax compliance, consulting and outsourcing services to partnerships, individuals, and corporations.
• Assist with tax research, dispute resolution correspondence, and other special tax projects.
• Prepare tax returns, workpapers, adjusted trial balances, depreciation schedules.
• Oversee and assist with staff development through direct on the job coaching.
• Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and growth and development opportunities
• Display professional behaviors in and out of the workplace
• Follow the firm’s and the department’s policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA license preferred
• Three (3) plus years of experience in corporate, partnership and individual tax accounting
• General understanding of accounting principles
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, team collaboration, problem solving skills, work independently and the ability to manage concurrent projects
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite products

ENTRY-LEVEL STAFF TAX ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for an entry-level Staff Accountant in our Tax Division to help maintain the firm’s standard of unparalleled service to our clients, as we help them navigate the many financial aspects of their business. A Staff Accountant has the opportunity to be a key member of financial reporting teams as well as to assist with various levels of consultation and compliance.

Responsibilities:

What you will do:

• Understand rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA
• Provide tax compliance, consulting and outsourcing services to partnerships, individuals and corporations.
• Prepare tax returns, workpapers, adjusted trial balances, depreciation schedules and financial statements
• Be an active member of compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statement engagement teams under the supervision of more experienced staff
• Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and growth and development opportunities
• Display professional behaviors in and out of the workplace
• Follow the firm’s and the department’s policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; graduating students should have 150 credit hours or be ready to identify a plan to achieve 150 credit hours in the near-term
• General understanding of accounting principles
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, team collaboration, problem solving skills, and the ability to manage concurrent projects
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite products

SENIOR MANAGER – TAX

Currently we are looking for a seasoned tax accounting professional and leader for our Senior Manager – Tax role. This Senior Manager role is an established, strategic leadership position in the firm that will help maintain our standard of unparalleled service and commitment to our clients, as we help them navigate the many financial aspects of their business.

Responsibilities:

What you will do:

• Understand rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA.
• Act as a strategic leader for the organization and trusted tax consultant for clients.
• Consult on technical matters and assist with tax research, dispute resolution correspondence, and other special tax projects.
• Review tax returns, workpapers, adjusted trial balances, depreciation schedules.
• Oversee and assist with staff development through direct on the job coaching.
• Research various tax matters, responding to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and make recommendations to the client for consideration.
• Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with the goal of acquiring new clients, projects, and revenue.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a similar degree in business.
• CPA required.
• Have strong expertise with 8+ years of tax accounting experience and is well-versed in Corporate, S Corporation and Partnership taxation. Experience in Trust taxation is a plus.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to think strategically and execute, while focusing on the details, commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
• Experience in managing multiple books of business.
• An entrepreneurial spirit.
• Great people skills and enjoys leading people.
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, team collaboration, problem solving skills, work independently and the ability to manage concurrent projects
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, as well as Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite products.
